Fundamental Techniques

Learn the essential building blocks that make everything else easier — posture, hand positioning, fretting accuracy, and timing. Apply these from day one and you’ll play cleaner, faster, and with more confidence as you progress.

basic

open Chords

Discover the foundation of many well known songs. You’ll learn the most common open-position chords, how to switch between them so you can start playing along with beginner chord songs.

Fingerpicking

Bring melody and texture to your playing. These lessons teach the classic fingerpicking patterns that appear in acoustic, folk, and pop — building precision, tone, and independence in every finger.

Basic

picking

Develop control and rhythm with simple picking techniques and play along songs. Train both hands to work together smoothly, setting up the coordination you need for chords, riffs, and solos later on.

Barre

CHords

Break through one of the biggest beginner barriers. You’ll learn how to correctly shape and move barre chords in different positions on the neck.

Beginner Scales

Understand the fretboard instead of guessing. You’ll learn simple scale shapes (like the pentatonic and major scale) that train your fingers and help you hear how music actually fits together.
